Dream architect fail

Me: In my dreams I'm always doing two things - I'm either panicking for exams or running. Very often I realised I do not pant when I run, that's when I knew I was in a dream.

Public Feud

I, for one, do not like to wash dirty linen in public. Since you started it, then bring it on.

You complained that I'd rather watch Doraemon than to visit the doctor with you. For the record I went to the doctor with you. Need I bring up the time you left me to walk the streets of Mongkok alone because you'd rather surf facebook in the lounge?

Anyone who read the post would have believed that visiting the doctor was very important to you. Guess what? After one day the medication is still left untouched, and you went drinking last night. Can you see the irony here?

This trip back to ipoh is probably the most tiring of all trips. Papa picked me and HDY from my workplace on Friday evening. Taking into account the afterwork traffic, I estimated we would reach Ipoh by 12mn, latest. Traffic to the causeway was relatively smooth. We managed to clear customs and immigration in a shorter time than the last trip! Little did we expect a terrible massive jam in the heart of JB! We were stuck for 2 hours before we managed to hit the highway. It was 8:30pm by then.


Not long after that, we were hit by torrential rain!! It was so heavy you could barely see what's ahead of you. It doesn't help that the highway is not lit. By then I had taken over driving duties because papa had been driving for 4 hours and he's not exactly young anymore. Honestly I doubted whether I could keep my family safe in such driving conditions. I threaded at 70 kmh for the next half hour. It was an excruciating drive. I channelled what's left of my energy for the day to concentrating on the road. I could barely last for 2 hours and my father took reins of the wheels again while I slept..ZzzzZz..


We finally arrived at Ipoh at 2am and headed straight for kum poh for dinner / supper / breakfast. Papa woke us up at 6:30am and we made our way to the cemetary for tombsweeping. It was an extremely tiring trip but it's good to see everyone again.

I don't know how to continue with my revisions anymore. I thought exercise would help in my concentration. It did initially, but in retrospect, it was probably an illusion.

Revisions are often peppered with work matters. Asset specificity is the.. ahh contract renewal for xxx coming up.. extent to which the investments.. must remember to do monthly report.. made to support a particular transaction.. must remember to call Ted back.. have a higher value to that transaction than.. zzZzz

Like what I told Elaine (Lee) yesterday when we were both lamenting the pitiful states we are in, I have to wake up every morning to convince myself why completing the degree was important. I only have 1.5 more months to go! Then it's LIBERATION!!!

What I can't understand is, why do I feel so awful when I'm only doing two modules this year. I did four in 2008 and three last year! How did I do it?

It sucks when you know the other girlfriends are enjoying the long weekend (they get eve of holiday and Monday off in Aus) deep sea fishing, paintball and partying with their boyfs in Perth, while I max my brain out over the weekend. And you don't give a damn.
