p. II

On retrospect....

The long drive home after sending bran back, is always agonising. Especially today, since bran won't be coming back this coming weekend. What made it worse was when his song "always be my baby" was played on the radio. sigh..

bye hodiwei.. hello bran!!

1.. 2.. 3.. 23.. 31 days.. it's been a month since ho diwei returned from perth and yesterday he left to continue with his studies again. papa, diyang and I sent him off very, very early in the morning.

Breakfast at burger king. "I'm the king!"

Then it was Hello Bran! As usual, I picked him up from Pasir Ris and we went to Lagoon for braised duck. yums!

bran left his smelly with me from the day he enlisted into to the army.
every weekend i'll return it to him so he can have a good night's sleep.

bran sniffing the smelly which has been with him for the past 21 years

he strapped it to himself while driving

so he can sniff it whenever he wants

i had a very busy, but fulfilling saturday.

to the airport to send diwei off
to pasir ris to pick bran up
to bedok to pick up a laptop
to ecp to makan
to bran's place
to bicycle shop at bukit timah
to book store at clementi
back home to deliver dinner to my mom
then to kallang to pick hodiyang up..
to go for eason chan's concert!

we had complimentary vvip seats, which i won in an internal lucky draw so it's fair and square hoh. diyang and i were seated 4 rows from the front. we had very good seats and we could see very detail on his outrageous costumes and his facial expressions and antics. we enjoyed ourselves very much even though i only knew one song.

bran went cycling in the meantime and we went to lagoon again, this time for supper. by the time we finished the lala, stingray, oyster omelet and satay, it was already 1+am. goodness. we've been awake since 5.30am! bran was very tired so i took the wheels this time and diyang made alot of noise while i drove to make sure i stay awake. i think you were very distracting ho diyang! by the time we reached home it was already past 2am.

dead beat? yes.

fun? you bet!

bran

On Sunday evening, I sent bran back to Pasir Ris. I took the wheels since bran needed to tidy his appearance on the way there.

b: -takes out bottle of water-
"you want water?"
t: "noo.."
.
.
.
t: -scratches chin and flakes of skin fall onto my lap-
"the skin on my chin is so dry"
b: -lace his finger with water from the bottle and daps it on my chin-

Heehee! He's so adorable! It puts a smile on my face everytime I think about it.

We had the car on Saturday night so bran and I went for a spin after dinner. He drove me to 2 places - "one high, one low". Nono, not the high-low game our dept always plays. First stop was up the steep road to Mount Faber. That's where he always cycles to. It was breezy and nice and I tried to be romantic and asked "do you think we can cycle up here together one day?" bran, being the usual unromantic prosaic lover he is, turned me down flatly. -_- He said as a matter-of-factly, even he struggles to get to the top of Mt. Faber, I will definitely roll down the slopes midway.

okies..

We drove a short distance to Labrador Park. There's a nice place by the waters and I don't know why the area was so crowded at 10.30pm on a Saturday night. That's another place he cycles to with his cycling buddies. Time spent with Bran was short but I had a good time as usual =)

diyang's 20th birthday

Yesterday I'm pleased as ever to see bran again, but I feel very bad for not maximising bran's weekend. Next week, alright?

Diyang's birthday on Tuesday.

We wanted to give diyang a surprise. I had to coordinate with ho diwei via sms even when we're at home! The plan was to spring the surprise on him when he comes out from the bathroom. When we heard the bathroom door click, we brought the cake out and waited.. and waited.. and waited. You take a long time to bathe, you know! I sat patiently outside the door of the bathroom for at least 20 mins. I shouted SURPRISE! and sprayed crazy ribbons all over diyang when he came out. hahahahaha!!!! he just collapsed onto the floor, spread eagle style and laughed nonstop! all 180cm of him. hahahahaha!!

cousins

...

so happy, you're 20! start acting your age!

our present to him

did you cut the cake without blowing the candles??

3rd weekend with bran

The weekend has come and gone.. but I enjoyed myself so much this weekend!

It was a carefree weekend with bran. I woke up really early to be at Pasir Ris in time to pick bran up. We bought Carl's Jr on the way back, and lazed around at my place before we went to town at 8pm. He wanted to pick a birthday present for me, but there's really nothing I want now more than his time and company. We left with nothing except another skirt and top which I grabbed within 5 mins of entering the shop (see I'm getting so good at this!), but I'm still happy. It's been a while since we hit the town together. Bran left to meet his platoon mate for a drink and spent the night at my place. I don't understand why they still want to meet after seeing each other the entire week..

We woke up at 9-ish this morning and went out for breakfast. When we stepped out of the house, bran just stared at the view which presented before bran's eyes and said, "After all these years, I've never seen this view before... because I never woke up so early before." Glad you realised bran!

my two loves

Okie..I'm counting down to the next weekend!

I'm a sophomore!

ehs.. I know it's usually used in a US school but I can't think of the equivalent in Brit.

I'm so bored. School reopens today. My special project has to come to a halt for the time being. The only consolation is it takes my mind off missing bran.

3 mins after I dropped him off at pasir ris: "As I walked down to the bus I thought of
the time spent with you yesterday. My whole week was worth it because of that"

it's a beautiful day

Hi! I had a very happy Saturday!

I woke up very early, got ready and left the house by 9.20am to pick bran up who's taking the 9.45am ferry from tekong. I dropped diyang at tp and found my way to white sands without getting lost in the east for the first time (whey hey! I think I'm getting better at this). Some sabo-king decided to leave his ic behind so bran's platoon had to wait for him to take the ferry back and forth before they could leave the ferry terminal.

Bran and his friends had KFC. I don't understand why they still crave for chicken when they have chicken everyday. Chicken wings for lunch, chicken thighs for dinner. We reached bran's place at noon, and took a nap while it rained outside. =)

Christine is very, very kind to give me 2 tickets to yesterday's ndp preview. Thank you very very much! It's almost becoming a tradition for bran and I to catch the preview every year. We have stopped trying to get the tickets to the actual parade.

The flypast and aerial display were magnificent as usual!

we were supposed to have a good dinner after this..hence the decent clothes

<3

the thing which bran used to slap my head

We gave our funpacks away to little kids who were could not enter and were standing near the barricades. I am so glad because the kids looked so happy upon receiving those funpacks.. before I realised I gave my umbrella away as well! damn... I hope the mother of the kids think that cx is a sponsor and the umbrella is the best item in the funpack.

We had ice-cream, caught up with each other and did a little shopping. I think I'm getting better at shopping too! I just walked in with bran, grabbed the items I like and left. I no longer walk 3 rounds in the shop, and go home and brood over a dress I did not get. Bran told me about his experience with a friend. A bunch of them were going on a cruise and xx's slippers snapped. So bran accompanied her to get a pair of slippers at HabourFront while the whole group waited for them at the Cruise Centre. xx walked into 3 shops and evaluated every single pair of shoes. How ridiculous! In times of emergency like this, you would have bought anything which fitted you. Anyway, the bottom line is, I think I'm getting better at shopping with bran! =)

We intended to have another round of good juicy steaks but bran suddenly craved for hor fun after getting a whiff of zhi char smell at suntec. So we zipped to boon tong kee at Balestier at 10pm.

We were dead beat by 11pm but I'm very happy, because I spent precious time with Bran.
