Caught up

Presentation Course (13-14 Nov)
Guy on top left is our coach.

Negotiation Course (15-16 Nov)

With course mates

So much has happened since my return. Should I jot them down..maybe not..

On a happier note, Mom is feeling so much better now and I think she's received more than 100 bottles of chicken essence. Bran has to top everyone by giving bird's nest....heehee

Bran underwent an op and is acting like a baby. =P I think he enjoys all the attention. Aunty Nancy, Aunty Winnie and I went to pick him up, his boss Alvin was there and his bandmate was there yesterday too. I have no idea why she ran off after she saw me.

One of his rabbits looks like a porcupine now because the fur she shed did not fall off. Instead, they clumped together and formed 'spikes'. And bran can't catch her to brush away those fur with only one arm. So I guess she's gonna stay like this until bran's arm recovers.

I got my, as Ben likes to put it, "license to kill". Dilun & Diyang, we don't have to take the train anymore =)

Hopes everything will go uphill from here.

= [

Bran met with a terrible accident yesterday afternoon. Thank his lucky stars there were no cars behind him on the usually busy road, he was wearing a helmet, and there was one, just one, passer-by.

He is conscious and very alert and still speaks very loudly. He fractured his left arm though and there're bruises and lacerations all over his body. They had to stitch up his forehead and his left eye is swollen and black, looks like he just got punched in the eye. =(

I rushed to the hospital within 20 mins after his call but the doctor & nurses would not allow us to see him. We waited for about 3 hours before they told us to return at 8pm to pick him up because they would still like to observe him. At 6pm, they called to tell us that he needs to stay for another 24 hours for observation. So I went back at 7pm and stayed till 10pm. Dad and Mom went to visit him with his favourite bananas just now and Aunty Nancy should be there to pick him up now.

Get well soon bran...

  • Hong Kong from Monday - Thursday with Tash & Ben. We did not go beyond Cathay City, Novotel and Tung Chung on Mon & Tues. A hurried & busy, but fruitful trip. =)
  • I barely spent SGD100 on this trip. All the things I bought were on behalf of everyone else.
  • Hong Kong again from 12-16 Nov.
  • Too many things, too little time!

update

two of my many loves...

ooh..fluffy...so soft!
  • Welcome & good bye dilun and diyang! Sorry we couldn't spend more time with you guys, but I hope you've enjoyed your short stay here. I wonder when we can gather again..
  • Bran got himself an iPod touch. When he asked for my opinion on whether to get it, I said, "If you get it, we'll have to delay the wedding by a month." But he couldn't care less. sulk.
  • And he also got himself a $1,450 bicycle frame. faint. Gotta delay it by another month.
  • The driving instructor gave me a mock test two days ago, just on the road, no circuit and I clocked 26 points! He says I'm a darn lazy driver. heh..
  • Bran cycled his Gucci bike to my place yesterday morning, had lunch with my family and slept from 2pm to 6am today. Nobody could wake him up. Every time we tried to, he'll merely shift his body to face the other direction.
  • Diyang just told me that he'll be coming to Singapore with Aunt Julie next week! Wheee!!!! Another Carl's Junior session? Don't tell me you're going to Sim Lim again.....

of September

Busy busy month ahead.

Bran and I celebrated 6 years of..having each other.. early this week at Wasabi Bistro. =) And now he's mad at me because he won't be able to accept anything less than the sushi they serve there. How did he show it? He just treated himself, his mom and aunty winnie to a meal at
Wasabi Bistro last evening.

Boyfriend, if you see this, thanks for always looking out for me =)

Starwood roadshow on Wednesday evening.. hmm..

Thursday evening was spent at Sushi Tei with the department "in anticipation of hitting target in August". Haha.. If we don't we'll have to vomit everything out...

I spent Friday evening driving in and out of the parking lot, while the instructor fed the stray dogs and disappeared behind the buses.

There goes my semester break.

fluffy

Everyone, meet fluffy, bran's present to me. It's a Netherland Dwarf (which is Bunny's breed) x French Angora = Jersey Wooly. Jersey Woolies are show rabbits that's why fluffy is soo pweety! It's coat is really soft, plush and wooly. I can't explain the dark eye rings though.. He arrived at my place like that..

wet after playing in the rain

ooh fluffy..

my favourite bunny..it has grown 300g since it's last vet visit in Feb.

having lunch. fluffy's iris are actually blue. It's bright, that's why he looks so scary here.

gnaw gnaw gnaw

...no manners. at the rate he's eating, he'll look like bunny soon.

bunny bunny, see the ring on her back? She's shedding

sneaky fluffy

I'm feeling rather guilty for neglecting hodiyang when he was here for the past 2 weeks. Usually I'll be too tired after work + school. Usually he'll be in hodiwei's room playing his brand new white DS, or PS, or watching silly videos on the PC. Then I'll pop by his room and say good night, and plop dead on my bed. I guess the only thoughtful thing I have done was to celebrate his birthday with him. He is enjoying himself in Langkawi with the 'morning joggers'. He is becoming an aunty like them soon.

Genting, KL, night safari, and a haircut

Bran and I went on a impulsive short getaway to Genting and KL last weekend, to celebrate his birthday. We were lucky there were seats left, we only decided and made our bookings on the day before departure.

The coach arrived at Genting at 4am in the morning, and check-in is only after 11am... ... dang ... We walked around, napped at the lobby, watched sunrise yadda yadda. We entered the theme park at 8.30am and by 11am, we've finished all the rides.

Dilun & Diyang joined us in KL. I think bran had made a booking for a suite in Berjaya Times Square Hotel. The room is ridiculously big for both of us, comes with a pantry, living hall, bedroom, a bathroom with an adjoining toilet. We've had too much chicken on the trip. Bran ordered KFC upon arrival at Genting. We ordered a Super Supreme for lunch, but the waiter made an error and they gave us Chicken Supreme. Dinner was at Kenny Rogers. We had Kenny Rogers again at KL. And bran ordered a bowl of Curry Chicken Noodles before we came back to Singapore on Monday. Ooh..and it's nice to have A&W again! But everything in M'sia seems to be spoilt. When we were at A&W, we were told that we can't order any meal because the root beer dispenser, waffle maker and everything else was not working. When the problem was fixed half an hour later, even the hotdog bun of diyang and dilun's coney dog broke into two! wahahahahaha!

Diyang came to Singapore with us and..we were off to the Night Safari (again) on Wednesday. This time with momma and Xueling.

Anyway, I've finally chopped off my locks after.....6 years. =)

gucci-ed!

hello, I would like to make an announcement.

I got my first Gucci today. It's a 'princy' medium boston bag. The very same one I mentioned in an entry in March. Trigger happy =)
